Unit 1: Globally, women are often victims of multiple types of violence. In North American, women are more likely to be sexually assaulted, beaten or murdered by a current or ex-partner than by a stranger. This talk focuses on the causes and consequences of domestic violence including post-relationship stalking. Approaches to assessment and treatment are reviewed.

Unit 2: This is a case based presentation and workshop on sexual and reproductive health and rights with local and global perspectives. Included are ways to create positive change and action using a health professional’s sphere of influence. You can save lives with a signature.
