- navigate current evidence for and against the use of cannabis for medical purposes, and
- to better prepare for and treat cannabis-related presentations in an acute setting.

Featuring Dr. Kennon Heard, Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine and Section Chief of Medical Pharmacology and Toxicology.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will:
- Develop a familiarity with the chemical makeup, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of cannabis and its related compounds, including how these concepts impact clinical considerations (e.g., durations of impairment).
- Understand the current evidence for and against the use of cannabis (both THC and CBD) for common medical conditions./li>
